NutriScan is operated by ServeLogic Ltd (SC873950), registered in Scotland. We provide AI-powered nutritional analysis of restaurant menus using the UK's official CoFID food composition database.
When you sign in with Google or Facebook, we collect your name, email address, and profile photo — solely to create and manage your NutriScan account.
When you use NutriScan, we also collect: menu images you upload (automatically deleted after 15 minutes for customers, 24 hours for restaurants), scan results and nutritional data, your IP address and a browser fingerprint hash (for rate limiting only).
We use your data to provide the NutriScan service: authenticating your account, saving your scan history, detecting duplicate menus to reduce processing costs, and preventing abuse of our free tier. We do not sell, share, or rent your personal data to third parties. We do not send marketing emails unless you explicitly opt in.
We use Google Document AI for OCR, Anthropic Claude and OpenAI for AI analysis, Google OAuth and Facebook Login for authentication, and Cloudflare for CDN and security. Menu images are processed in memory and not stored permanently by these services.
Uploaded menu images: deleted within 15 minutes (customer) or 24 hours (restaurant). Scan results: retained so you can access your history. Account data: retained until you request deletion.
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time via our data deletion page. For any data requests, contact [email protected].
We use a single session cookie (ns_token) to keep you logged in. It expires after 30 days. We do not use tracking or analytics cookies.
